Re-engineered from Stig Carlsson’s 1974 ortho-directional classic, the OD-11 is a 26 cm birch cube that disguises an audiophile heart.
A 100 W class-D amplifier drives a long-throw woofer and silk-dome tweeter angled at 45 degrees to fill rooms with warm, even sound. Wi-Fi, AirPlay, Spotify Connect, Bluetooth LE, optical input, and 3.5 mm jack make the speaker agnostic to source while Orthoplay for iOS and Android manages multiroom setups and firmware updates.
The magnetic volume puck—place it anywhere on a coffee table and twist—adds a tactile flourish that feels equal parts remote and sculpture. Finished in matte lacquer with subtle rear vents, the OD-11 slips beside Danish lighting or Japanese ceramics without visual noise, bringing authentic mid-century minimalism to the modern smart-home mix.
