About
The Logitech G325 has no boom arm. Its microphone is built into the headset and uses beamforming with AI-powered noise reduction to pick out a voice and cut ambient noise such as keyboard clicks and fan hum.
On most headsets, a microphone has to sit near the mouth to keep the voice louder than the room, which is why boom arms exist. Beamforming does that job electronically. Several microphone elements listen for sound arriving from the direction of the speaker, and the noise reduction then works on whatever else gets through. For a desk with a mechanical keyboard and a PC fan running, that is the noise it is aimed at.
The audio side is an over-ear, closed-back design with dual dynamic drivers. Frequency response runs from 20 Hz to 20 kHz, and Logitech specifies 24-bit audio with enhanced bass. The Logitech G325 connects over LIGHTSPEED wireless for low latency on PS5, PC and Nintendo Switch / Switch 2, and it also pairs over Bluetooth for gaming handhelds and mobile devices.
Comfort comes from breathable knit fabric, a plush headband and dual-layer memory foam earcups. Logitech lists battery life at 24+ hours, so a full day of play is covered before it needs a charge.
