Most watch rolls protect against scratches. The Fraser goes further by adding a rigid shell that resists knocks and pressure, which is the failure mode a soft roll cannot handle in a bag that gets thrown into an overhead locker.
The Tawbury Fraser 3 Watch Case is built from top-grain leather over that rigid shell, with a metal zipper closure and a soft interior lining that keeps dials and crystals clear of abrasion. The case holds three watches on pillows sized to fit the wrist underneath them. Two pillow sizes are available: Standard for wrists measuring 6.5 to 7.7 inches, and Extra Small for 5.5 to 6.9 inches. Getting the pillow size right matters because a watch that rocks on an oversized pillow can still scratch against the lining on a bumpy journey.
The removable lid insert is the detail that separates this case from simpler options. It lifts out to give extra clearance for larger watches, accommodating any watch up to one inch in total height including the strap or bracelet. Placed flat, the same insert doubles as a clean surface for swapping straps while travelling, which removes the need to find a clear table in a hotel room. A case that earns its space in a bag by doing two things well is harder to leave at home than one that does only one.
