Tally Pro condenses café-grade weighing accuracy into a 152 × 130 mm slab of bead-blasted aluminium that stands just 18 mm high. The top plate is a single machined sheet, floating on four load-cell posts that read from 0.1 g up to 2 kg with ±0.05 g repeatability. A textured silicone mat snaps on magnetically; lift it off to rinse, and the plate’s overhang lets water run clear without pooling.
Interaction stays almost invisible. A lone capacitive rocker wakes the scale and cycles through Brew, Weight, and Timer modes, while an OLED ring lights crisp white numerals through black glass only when active. In Brew mode, Tally auto-tares the carafe, starts timing at the first drop, then shows a live brew ratio so adjustments happen mid-pour instead of after tasting.
A 1000 mAh lithium cell powers roughly 30 hours of continuous use. USB-C charging hides on the rear edge, leaving every visible surface free of ports or screws. Four silicone feet reduce vibration and protect counter finishes, so the scale can double for kitchen or postage duty without sliding.
Matte surfaces, a disappearing display, and lab-level precision let Tally function as both brewing instrument and desk-top sculpture. It pairs naturally with a Fellow Ode grinder or sits neatly beneath a Chemex on a walnut tray, adding accuracy without visual noise.
