You get a piston driven, vacuum powered, no bypass brewing system wrapped in thick borosilicate glass, stainless steel, brass and anodized aluminum that would not look out of place next to a high end watch.

Instead of relying on gravity like a typical pour over coffee maker, the BIRD uses a precision crafted stainless brewing pod and gasket to pull coffee through with controlled vacuum pressure. That gives you cleaner cups with the body and extraction you normally chase with espresso gear. The pod can be used with the reusable metal filter or the Abaca paper filters for anyone chasing that competition level filter coffee.

Day to day, it is built for real use, not just photos. The filter paper dock keeps your coffee bar tidy, the drip catcher makes cleanup painless, and everything breaks down quickly for a rinse.
