About
The Aarke Kettle has five temperature settings, 104°F, 167°F, 185°F, 203°F and 212°F, all chosen with a single control. That spread runs from barely warm to a full boil, so one kettle can serve for a baby's bottle, green tea and a French press.
LED indicators do two jobs. They help pick a setting, and they show the current water temperature as it climbs. A built-in memory saves the last setting, so the kettle starts from where it was left. Water goes in between 0.5 L and 1.2 L, and a boil takes about three minutes, give or take, depending on the power outlet, the starting water temperature and the room. The US version is rated 1500 W at 120 V.
The body is double-walled stainless steel (SUS304). That construction keeps the boil noise down and holds the water warm for longer. The spout is shaped to stop drips, and the lid opens smoothly so hot droplets are less likely to splash out. Inside sits a removable stainless steel filter that collects limescale particles and lifts out for cleaning. If the kettle is switched on with too little water or none, dry-boil protection shuts it off.
Aarke's kettle is designed and engineered in Sweden and manufactured in China. The box holds a 360° swivel base with a cord winder, the filter, a manual and an Aarke cleaning cloth.
