Aero Milk Frother

About

The Terra Kaffe Aero has a dedicated matcha mode, and it changes the hardware as well as the setting: the standard frothing whisk comes out and a different one goes in, made to dissolve matcha powder instantly. Four presets cover the rest, and the whisks are interchangeable.

Ordinarily, cold foam means a handheld whisk or a plunger and some patience. The Aero does it with magnetic rotation, whipping air through chilled milk so the aeration stays consistent from one cup to the next. Switch to a heated mode and the same jug gives hot froth or hot milk, at a temperature between 140°F and 160°F.

The Terra Kaffe Aero Milk Frother makes hot froth, hot milk, cold foam and whisked matcha from one insulated stainless steel body, and it works with dairy and nondairy milks including oat, almond and soy.

That body keeps heat consistent from base to pour. The handle stays cool to the touch, so the jug can be lifted straight off the base mid-pour without a cloth.

Terra Kaffe describes the styling as Bauhaus-inspired and industrial, and the form bears that out. It is a plain steel cylinder with a handle and little else on show. The four modes and the swappable whisks do the work, so the surface can stay unfussy.
