AirTag is Apple’s smallest product, but also one of its most considered. The AirTag does not need to be recharged. It runs on a standard coin battery that lasts about a year and can be replaced in seconds. It emits sound when prompted, and can send notifications when separated from its paired iPhone.

There is no screen, no buttons, and no pairing dance. You bring it near your iPhone, and it simply connects. It is supported by a growing collection of accessories, from leather keyrings to magnetic holders, but the object itself remains unchanged. Quiet. Functional. Precise.
