When the first iPad launched in 2010, its mission was “the best way to experience the web.” The Pro series, introduced in 2015, pushed that idea toward professional creation. Today’s 13-inch model is carved from recycled aluminium only 5.1 mm thick.

A continuous chamfer runs the perimeter, letting the device lie flat without wobble while also catching light in a precise line. The new tandem OLED panel delivers perfect blacks under an anti-reflective coating that almost disappears in daylight; bezels shrink to frame the display like a gallery mount.

Pogo-pin connectors hide on the rear for accessories, keeping the slab uninterrupted on the sides where a single Thunderbolt port and magnetic Apple Pencil rail sit flush with the enclosure. Inside, the M-series processor shares one unified memory pool, reducing board space and allowing the battery to stretch edge to edge.

Four milled speaker grilles anchor the corners for balanced stereo regardless of orientation. The result is an object that feels closer to a sketchbook than a computer, defined by planar minimalism and engineered to vanish between hand and idea.
