A desk lamp that reads as a single line. Thomas Bentzen designed the Linear Table Lamp for Muuto in 2020: a die-cast aluminium head on a slim steel stem, with a polycarbonate diffuser that turns the built-in LED into a soft, even strip of light rather than a point.
The light is warm, 3000K, and dims with a touch. The base carries an 18W USB-C port, so the phone charges from the same spot the lamp lives. At 36.5 cm tall with a 16.5 cm base it takes up little of the desk, and the powder-coated finish comes in black or grey.
It suits a desk, a bedside or a shelf where you want light without a lamp that asks for attention.
