Most CD players hide the disc. The Coolgeek MusicFrame is built around showing it off.
The wooden frame holds a high-transparency acrylic panel at the front, so the spinning disc sits in full view, framed like an exhibit rather than buried inside a box. Behind it, the circuit board is arranged to work around the disc rather than beneath it, which means the mechanism itself becomes part of what the player displays. A fixed acrylic back panel protects both the player and the CD from damage while keeping the internal layout visible. The digital display across the top of the unit shows the current track, playback time, and battery status without interrupting the front-facing view.
Audio leaves the player either over Bluetooth, with a range of up to 10 metres, or through the 3.5mm AUX output on the right side of the unit. Triple-point silicone damping reduces vibration at the disc, which the manufacturer credits for cleaner, more stable sound. The laser system uses what Coolgeek describes as next-generation CD reading with pro-grade audio decoding. Power, pairing, and the AUX jack are all grouped on the same side panel, so the front face stays unbroken. The MusicFrame runs on a replaceable 18650 battery housed in a compartment at the bottom of the module, and the frame itself comes in black or white.
