A turntable for people who want vinyl on a modern system without extra boxes. The Pro-Ject T1 EVO Phono has a built-in, switchable phono stage, so it plugs straight into an amplifier, a pair of active speakers or a Sonos setup.
The plinth is a solid CNC-cut board with no hollow spaces or plastic, which cuts resonance. A belt drives a larger sub-platter on a precision main bearing, and 33 and 45 rpm switch electronically. The one-piece aluminium tonearm carries an Ortofon OM 10 cartridge with an elliptical stylus.
Handmade in Europe. It replaces the T1 Phono SB, which Pro-Ject no longer sells.
