OP-XY
About
OP-XY is a dual-CPU sequencer, synthesizer, and sampler designed for rapid composition and live performance. Eight instrument tracks host multi-engine synthesis or sampled material, while eight auxiliary tracks handle CV-gate, MIDI, and performance effects.
A 64-step grid with 24 tactile keys encourages hands-on pattern building; Brain mode offers intelligent transposition for evolving chords and melodies. Built-in CV outs, four assignable audio outputs, USB-C audio and MIDI, Bluetooth LE, and a best-in-class DAC bridge modular rigs, DAWs, and mobile setups without adapters.
Punch-in effects, two send buses, and per-step parameter locks create studio-grade nuance on a handheld device. An anodised all-black chassis, recessed OLED, and backlit encoders evoke the minimal futurism that has become Teenage Engineering’s signature.
With sixteen hours of battery life and 8 GB internal storage, OP-XY feels like a pocketable command center for synth enthusiasts who value both form and sonic flexibility.
