Debut PRO S Balanced
About
A vinyl setup built for listeners who value precision and clean design. The Pro‑Ject Debut PRO S pairs a 10 inch S‑shaped aluminium tonearm with a pre‑mounted Pick‑IT S2 C cartridge for confident tracking and easy swaps thanks to the removable headshell. The precision aluminium platter is damped with TPE to cut resonance and keep wow and flutter in check, while the electronically controlled motor switches between 33, 45, and 78 RPM with a simple toggle.
Build quality feels solid and intentional. CNC‑machined aluminium parts, a satin black finish, and a transparent dust cover make it look at home in any minimalist Hi‑Fi rack. VTA and azimuth adjustments give you the flexibility to dial in cartridges and elevate soundstage and detail without fuss.
On playback, it’s punchy yet refined, with stable timing that flatters older pressings and modern cuts alike. Pair it with a quality phono preamp and bookshelf speakers and you’ve got an audiophile turntable that nails the balance of form and function.
