Paper Towel Holder
About
Paper towels and spray cleaner get used together at almost every spill, and kept apart in almost every kitchen, the roll on the counter and the bottle under the sink. Simplehuman calls this the world's first holder to put both in one object.
The Simplehuman Paper Towel Holder with Spray conceals a refillable spray pump inside the centre post that holds the roll. A single downward push unlocks it and it lifts out. A finger loop at the top lets it hang from one finger while it goes to wherever the mess is, so the roll stays put and only the cleaner travels. The trigger is shaped to sit in the hand, and it delivers a continuous fine mist rather than a jet, which Simplehuman says is enough to blanket a dirty, greasy surface.
The holder half deals with the other usual nuisance of a paper towel roll. A balanced tension arm presses against it and adds resistance as the paper comes away, which stops the roll spinning and unravelling and lets one sheet, or several, be torn off with one hand. Simplehuman designed the whole set around its own multi-surface cleaning tablets and its high-performance paper towels, which are made from 90% recycled paper.
